Another excuse to play at tax payer expense. Does this fool EVER do an honest day’s work?

I've been to two NFL games in my life - GB vs SF in the early 70's at Kesar Stadium, and SD vs SF at Candlestick (I cannot bring myself to call the stadium anything else). In the first, I got to watch Bart Star play against John Brodie. The 49ers won that game. In the second, which was a pre-season game, the 49ers won, but the game really was meaningless.
Normally I would not root for GB, especially since my wife is a Vikings fan (gotta keep the peace you know). But, I simply detest the Bears, especially given the influence of Chitcago on today's national politics.

I would have loved to have seen Starr play (have a signed helmet of his). Your wife is a Vikings fan as well. Bless you.
I really hope Jim Harbaugh will work well for you guys, having just lived in Oregon for 8 years the 49ers, became my west coast team.

That will be a nightmare for all the people who hold tickets. Good luck getting to park and in.

I live in Dallas, there goes the neighborhood....
wait a minute....the game is in Arlington.....those poor folks in Arlington.....
The Super Bowl is a security nightmare in the first place and they have everything in place and it is good to go but if he comes that changes the entire security game plan and what a nightmare that will create.... but this guy is too arrogant to care about that.....
I hope the Packers win......but I like both teams......

Im trying to figure a way to afford to relocate, and a place to relocate to.Two words for you: Ari Zona!
Arizona has in many ways become the front line against the Obamanation of America. We could use more good FReepers here.

It is not the Bears I have hated all these years. It is the Bear fans I’ve found so objectionable. Just proves the point.

LOL - Yes, there are days when blessings are needed. The wife was born/raised in North Dakota. The Vikings are the closest team to ND. Funny though. Her brother is a Packer's fan.
While I grew up bleeding niner red & gold, I also, as a 10 year old, liked the Patriots (I loved the emblem of the Patriot in a 3 point stance). I took much abuse over that (good naturedly of course) from my step-father (die-hard 49er fan).

Yes, Arizona is at the top of the list of possibilities. I would just have to find the right set of circumstances that would allow us to relocate. That’s not easy.

We have seats front row center along with easy access to the refreshment stands that offer a variety of delicious choices and of course...to the bar. Not worried about any kind of bad weather either as we will have access to heaters. Restrooms are plentiful and parking not a problem.
