Sarah Palin would absolutely not split the conservative vote in a general election against Obama. The Republicans and moderates would fall into line eventually.

There was nothing “sick” about what he posted. You really need to calm down.

I really don’t think this country will elect her. There just aren’t enough of us to get her in the white house.

“She is a downgrade.” Huh? Have you heard her on television or radio?
Grow up.

Compare and contrast. People said that about Ronald Reagan. But people looked at Jimmy Carter and compared. The result was an electoral college landslide,

She is not as good as Palin is.

Yeah. We all know it is better to sit on the sidelines and be a waterboy than try to be a leader on the field.
Whether Sarah Palin decides to make a run for the nomination or not, I guarantee that she will NOT be sitting on the sidelines.
For the past few months, she has been one of the only ones taking direct shots at Obama. So, it can only be for one of two reasons. She is either trying to take the MSM fire or she is positioning herself for a run. My honest hope is that she makes people wonder what she is going to do for most of 2011.

Why do we let the media destroy conservatives and get away with it ? And even more disturbing.. is why do we throw a conservative under the bus after the media rips them up ?
I am angry. I want to see Palin prove her doubters wrong. and I think the doubters would change their mind if they knew the real Palin.

I’m not at all worried about Bachmann doing the right thing.

Why do we let the media destroy conservatives and get away with it ?
It comes with the territory of being a conservative. The MSM will be running stories on a daily basis pointing out each and every little misstep that each Republican member in the House takes for the next two years. Many TV anchors do not like that the Tea Party made some gains or that the House is not under Democrat control.
As for why WE through our own under the bus? If you figure that one out before I do, let me know........

"She would become a trivia question and not have the respect she deserves. and her name and picture wouldnt be in the history books."
What is more important? Her fame, or selecting the best candidate?

She is the one who has not played it safe. That is the mark of a leader.
I’m on record with my opinion already. SP will do what she feels is right.
The conservative male prospective candidates are crouching and feeling each other out. Sarah is taking it to the opposition, using the media they thought belonged only to the young and liberal hip.
Michele Bachman is a very bright spot, but she hasn’t drawn the fire yet that Palin has. Obama couldn’t have stood the refining fire Sarah has already seen as a VP and maybe POTUS candidate.
Leader have a vision and don’t look back. Opportunists let someone else take the fire, then sprint past a wounded leader at the finish, like this is about posturing and triangulation instead of leading a nation.

She IS the best candidate. She has the potential to be a great President.

"She is a downgrade."
Actually, it is the other way around. Michelle is far more consistent on conservative issues and much better at articulating those issues when under pressure. There simply is no comparison.

2012 Presidential candidates 101:
Bachmann=electable.
Palin=not electable but should continue in her role as a fund raiser, a cheerleader for other GOP candidates and a strong voice for Conservatism.

She is not as good as Palin is. First, take a breath. Your screen name says states you are young. I'm also a statuesque blond, LOL!
Well, maybe you are young and in panic mode about politics. Do you know anything about Michele Bachmann?
To: mplsconservative
She is not Sarah Palin and she has not endured the media attacks and injustice that Palin has. Palin is better.
