She said: 'Before doing Miss England I thought that beauty contests were all about daft proclamations about "world peace" and all the rest of it.

Well she has brains academically and also seems to have an inkling that though world peace is a nice goal it is a totally impractical goal.

I personally think it is high time that the people of the Western Democracies grew up and told the pacifist to sit down and shut up. The adults in the West have had enough of the idealistic non-sense.

You only make it more dangerous by trying to make nice with dictators.
