Did you watch the interview? He said he’s never been in a tanning salon nor used any silly tanning oil and his wife said “John has always been dark.”

You HAVE TO BE less than 50 years old!

If you are, you are probably ignorant of the adversities the people of this country have gone through...both financially and political.

I cry periodically because of the sacrifices of the younger people of this country and the corruption and inadequacies of the government.

To see a man of this stature come from mopping out a bar, emptying trash cans to make it through college and then making it to SOTH....well, a tear should be shed. He has achieved his “American Dream”.

Just this week I shed a tear for Special Operations solders who had given their lives for this country, knowing there are many who are ignorant of what this country really means to the individual citizen and the failures of the citizens to do their best to continue our unique experiment. I didn’t feel less a leader, and I have led thousands. My tears were in support of those who tried, did their best for their ideals, never knew me, but have my full support.

Mock him if you must, but the next time you look in the mirror, ask yourself, “Am I who I should be?”

I like John Boehner. Never took an earmark, has worked his butt off for years to achieve what he has now gotten, the Speakership, and speaks his mind (note chicken crap comment made recently). I think he will be a very good Speaker in very tough times. Being Speaker is no easy gig.

I did not see the interview. Maybe Boehner is the dark sheep from a Germanic family

I knew a former Navy Seal years ago who was a very emotional person....could cry at the drop of a hat.....he could also tear the door off your truck barehanded...well almost.

Agree... I can’t stand to see a man cry on TV. It’s okay in private, but not out when everyone sees you. Thanks for this post. I was wondering if it was just me.
