GOT IT! Yuppers A great one!

I was in such a funk tonight because it's been a long day at home, now I'm at work until midnight, and shortly after that we should start getting hit with that huge winter storm.

Then yunz all started this thread! I've been listening to each and every song posted. They are all fantastic and I'm starting to come out of my funk.

Might even give The Wife a Christmas Kiss when she picks me up!

THANKS TO ALL and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Jack Frost, and the Hooded Crow , "The Jethro Tull Christmas Album" (yes there is one and it's damn good.r>

"As holly breaks and ivy clings, your fate is none too clear.
The Lord may find you wanting, let your good fortune disappear.
All homely comforts blown away, and all that's left to show...
is to share your joy at Christmas time, with Jack Frost and the Hooded Crow..."

“Took awhile for a comeback, huh?”

Rather busy. I’m sorry I don’t follow your every word. Maybe I should on Twitter?

“Did you get that at the Comeback Store?”

No, I don’t shop there other than Black Friday.

My Mom was a Line Material employee and brought this home for my very first Christmas.

I like "Silver and Gold" from "Rudolph", too.

Ya know what's ironic? I'm at work running 3 radio stations in Pittsburgh. One is powering down so it will be pretty much off the air overnight. One is playing nostalgia music (40's-60's mostly with some newer stuff as well) and some Christmas music mixed in. The other - our main FM which is ALWAYS in the top 10 and usually in the top 5 in the market is playing all Christmas music and has been for several weeks.

The nostalgia Christmas mix isn't bad but the Adult Contemporary all Christmas FM has a playlist that I can't listen to. IIRC it's less than a hundred songs and has been WAY cut down from what we usually do. No more

Dominick the Christmas donkey

or other songs we used to play.

Radio has changed so much! Here's one last YT video of one that would play on our FM...maybe. I have to admit I like this version.

Last Christmas - Crazy Frog

“I’ll Be Home For Christmas”

Always reminds me of the soldiers.

“Santa Baby”, there are several versions, but in my opinion, the best was the original recording by Eartha Kitt.

Two-fer:

Please Come Home Home For Christmas
(not sure that’s the actual title; I think one of the Eagles did this,
maybe even if just “a cover”. It’s a sad, but good song, IMHO)

Blue Christmas (by some parody singer imitating Porky Pig)
I like Elvis’ version but the parody...I probably should put an
athletic bandage on so I don’t crack some of my ribs with laughter!

Blue Christmas by Porky Pig.

You beat me to it.
Definitely a classic.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer.

The early-morning crew on a local FM station has been airing a
parody of this song starting with
“Grandma got molested at the airport”.

Of course, the rest of the parody says that Grandma is always going
to the airport to get her “pat-down” by the TSA but she never gets
on a plane.

I can’t find a printed copy of the lyrics, but I think there is a
You-Tube version on the net; it’s by a guy named Dick Mango(believe it or not).
