Yeah, but maybe when dad fell the day before he bumped the scope on his rifle. Even a little bump would throw of zero.
No negative remarks from me about her marksmanship since the scope was definitely messed up on the first rifle, but why was her father working the bolt after each of her shots?

That particular sequence could have been edited and shown her killing the caribou with one shot, yet it was not.

Yep, and even a millimeter movement on the scope will result in a miss by several feet at 200 yards.

I think that Caribou are Caribou, I believe that there are at least barren ground and woodland subspecies? but as far as I know ALL Alaskan Caribou are barren ground.
What part of “ONLY” don’t you get champ?
What part of eating a pleasant filling meal is a luxury even if it has ZERO nutritional value if you are living on last seasons leaving at the end of a 10 month winter champ?

Palin could have had the missed shots edited out of the program. After all, she could have made it look like she hit the caribu with the first shot...when she switched rifles. But, she is honest, and let it show exactly what happened when Dad's rifle had a problem with the sight.
Now, who in the world can fault that except some Troll or idiot who is jealous of Palin's skill and honesty??? The woman has guts, whether in the field, or in the political arena.
Barack couldn't spend one day trecking through the wilderness like Sarah. But, he does spend time with a moose in the White House.

To prevent continual embarrassment, you might wish to look up the krebs cycle and oxidative phosphorylation and note what happens to the amino acids that get introduced into them.
Then you might wish to ponder the differences between amino acids that make up caribou meat vs the amino acids that make up all other meats.
Lastly, you might then pull the whole thing together by actually realizing the difference between carbohydrates and calories.
Thinking could very well be a daunting task for you, but I know you can do it if you really try, champ.
My understanding from living in caribou country is that if you were to only eat caribou you would starve to death. Not because caribou is zero calorie food but because it is a neutral to negative calorie food. You will burn more calories by preparing, chewing, and digesting it than you will be able to store. That has always been the way it was explained to me.
