Amy, I missed most pings from yesterday - but this one is great! Brrrrrrrrr - all these snow pictures are going to look like Sedona before this day is over!
This ice sculpture AND frame IS “breathtaking” AND “exquisite”! Thank you so much for sharing!!
How beautiful that graphic is, Meg! Such an armful of warm love, even in the snow!
Thank you, Meg - I love bringing that one out, too. :)
I never do mine the day after....I’m usually too tired! And each day, I promise myself...today I will get’er done. After I do get it done though, it makes me feel great! My tree is pre-lit but I put on so many ornaments, it takes a while to take those off and pack them. I decorate my den and my living room so I have a lot of “stuff”, too! Something on the front porch and the back door entrance ‘that everyone uses’ to enter!
How sweet! Now let her inside! :)
Thanks, yorkie! I guess those really are the best two descriptive words for that piece of art. Amazing, incredible, awesome work, but it’s the intricate details that make it so exquisite!
Can use an armful of Warm and Fuzzy here today! Not often when you hear the word “BLIZZARD” and “ARIZONA” in the same sentence! :)
Darling young girl and her dog! Her coat matches the frame! How cool is that! :) Thank you, Meg!
You are always missed when not here, but so glad you have had a great visit with your son and DIL! Can’t beat that!!
:)
No blackeyed peas? :) Afraid I’d have to pass on the sauerkraut; though I’ll admit it ‘looks’ good on a Reuben sandwich. :)
I love that! those two are having so much fun romping in the snow! They have pretty warm fur coats though. :)
Awwww!
YES! Blackeyed peas! (I almost forgot those!) Better get to the store and pick some up - so I’ll be sure to have “Good Luck” in 2011!
What a sweet picture, JC! I used to have a Samoyed - and she loved the snow, too. (And, she was the most wonderful dog!!!)
JC, I never even thought of adding sugar to sauerkraut! But, the rinsing is a necessity, IMHO!
My mom said if you sprinkled a little sugar on it, it would brown better and not be too sour. (she told me the same thing about browning when frying country ham!) I wish she had taught me how to make HER dumplings! She didn’t measure and she made the very best dumplings. Now I can make dumplings, but not like mama’s.
OMG ... I was so anxious to Open the Doors that I left off that the graphic was made by MamaBear.
Isn’t it adorable?
