The guy that got shot? So? Sounds like he is a nice guy. What difference does his name or preference in TV make?
That’s the second ROPer in South Florida to murder a man in cold blood over a few cents in the past week.
What sort of a stupid comment is that? The guy tried to help out a fellow customer and wound up with a bullet in his head.
What difference does it make what color he is?
Apparently you missed the part which said he: TRIED TO RETURN THE CANDY TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER!

How do you know what his religion is?
This happened by the Roger’s Federal building. I find myself in the courthouse there every so often. If there’s a “bad” part of West Palm, this is it.
His name is Tamer Hanna.
Hanna could be Irish or Jewish, but it is also an Arab and a Turkish last name.
Both Christian Arabs and Muslim Arabs could have that last name, also Muslim Turks.
His first name is Tamer, which is a Turkish name and comes from the Turkic Islamic conqueror that we call "Tamerlane."
This combination of names makes him most likely Turkish. Tamer is not a name that a Christian Turk would be likely to have, since it is a nationalist/Islamic triumphalist name.
While it is possible that he might be a Lebanese Christian with a very uncharacteristic first name, or that he is a Turkish Muslim who converted to Christianity while keeping his birthname, it is much more likely that he is a Muslim Turk.

Extremely likely, almost 100%, that the parents of someone with the given name Tamer were Muslims.
Of course he might have converted, but then again in that case he would be an apostate which is punishable by death.

Would you settle for my observation that as far as “tame” goes, Tamer arguably wasn’t?
The article doesn’t say how many shots were fired, probably one which hit where it was intended to. It’s a shame he didn’t follow the recommendations of the majority of FReepers and aim for the middle chest.
Or perhaps a better understanding of English would have solved the problem.
