When I was in elementary school in the 1970s, our intrusive, busy-body teachers wrote our height and weight at the beginning of the school year and our height and weight at the end of the school year on our report cards for all of posterity to see. It was traumatic. haha It might have been traumatic if I were overweight, but I wasn’t. I remember waiting in line with all the other girls and comparing heights and weights after we were done. It was probably a humiliating experience for some. That’s probably why they stopped doing it. The girls who hit puberty early and were chunkier often did not stay that way as we got older.
Interesting.
I’m 5’5’’, 120 pounds with 30’ 30’ pants and size 7 shoe. I’m smaller than the average American serviceman from WW II!
Will this go on their permanent record?
