“Omar and the Howlers - Dancing in the Canebrake”

DH bought that one for this song:

OMAR & THE HOWLERS (Live 1986) - MISSISSIPPI HOODOO MAN

For some reason, he reminds me of Wolfman Jack.

Remember this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=audxGqo5AkQ Canned Heat - Going Up The Country [HQ MUSIC]

Thanks. I remember that one but didn't know who sang it. It's on my buy list for next month when I go buy some CD's.

Wolfman is on a song by The Guess Who. "Clap for the Wolfman".

Here's you one. Best lip sync on a video. Meat Loaf Paradise by the dashboard lights. The woman is not singing and is not the voice on the album either. Paradise by the Dashboard Light She's an actress and was his back up singer also. As I understand it the video was actually for a movie maybe Rocky Horror I'm not sure.

But Ronn Moss left Player in 1981 to pursue a full-time acting career. (He continues to play the role of Ridge Forrester on the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful.)

The Marshall Tucker Band - “Fire on the Mountain”

I read somewhere that their flute player came about from hiring a sax/keyboard player Jerry Eubanks. They asked him if he could also play a flute and he said yea. He'd never touched one before LOL.. Obviously he learned real fast.

MTB is still around touring. The only original member in the current band is vocalist Doug Gray. Both the Caldwell Brothers have passed on.

I didn't know that, how interesting. My ex loved that show.

There are several videos of Ambrosia on that YT channel. They did some great stuff too, I wish I could find a decent version of Holding on To Yesterday there.

They had a lot of hits, good music but I don't have time to post them right now, gotta run.

Yea I think he was in it. I went to see it one time with some friends back in the late 70's. Came back drenched and covered with rice LOL. The song makes me laugh when I hear it. A lot of my firends ended up that way.

I got a Nazareth CD too.. Thanks to second hand music stores I have a sizeable collection of CD's.

Doobie Brothers - Jesus Is Just Alright

Many thanks for all the songs and thoughts. . . much enjoyed.

Tried to find a good version of "Jesus Is Alright" by DC Talk but couldn't.

Now that I think about it, I spent most of the 80's, 90's and on into this last decade taking my girls and grandson to Christian concerts. The girls teethed on "DC Talk".

Some favorites from the "Welcome To The Freak Show" concert;
