They have toured for over 20 years without him and the lead singer(s) sound quite a bit like Steve. Still doing fine. Every fan knows that Neal Schon is the REAL Journey.

The claim is that Jay Black was in command of the most octaves of any male singer.

Just go and listen to Cara Mia sometime .. You’ll see! 8)

I don’t think anybody really can, it’s incoherent gibberish. Louie Loo-WAI, Oh bebby, we gotta go now, or some garbled variant over and over again.

Great for bellowing drunk in a bar with friends, not much outside of that.

I’ll go with Frank Sinatra’s choice-Tony Bennett, 60 years at the top of his field. Great voice, but bad politics as is true with most of the people listed here.

Orbison’s later life was very hard, though.

I saw Robert Plant several months ago at my local food market...shopping like a mere mortal. He might be 60 years old but lemme tell you something, he still looks like a Rock God!

Put Bobby Caldwell on your list, and you’re pretty much there.

I was watching a soccer match between Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers (which is Plant’s favorite team), and they showed him at the game.....wearing a suit and tie!!!!
