HAHAHAHA! I thought the speed limit was 85 there already. At least that seems to be the ambient speed.
We’ve long had them here, they’re jokingly called “dewey-sickles” (DWI-cycles). No license required, so people who have lost theirs due to a drunk driving conviction drive them. That doesn’t prevent another DWI, though. You can get one on a bicycle if you’re on a public roadway.
... or Covenant, or the worst which would be Shelba D. Johnson. You may not know them, they’re local and somwhat specialized. Very, very slow and cautious.
J.B. Hunt is famous for newbie drivers getting lost and blocking the road trying to turn a semi around, above and beyond poking down the road.
That explains why I havn’t seen them.
Where I am, you must license a moped. in fact, technically you must license a bicycle with electric helper motor if the motor is rated over a certain watts. “dewey sickles” are just bicycles where I am. And there are lots of them but they stay on the sidewalks.
But, I have noticed a lot of really fat people driving really tiny beater cars, like geo metros and such...and driving very slow.
Good news...this will help oppressed conservatives fleeing the northeast get to the south and west a bit faster...
We forgot Schneider - you know, the big orange trucks that come on to the interstate at 35mph and head straight for the center lane? Love them and the 45mph trash haulers, too.
I drive I-81 from Harrisonburg to Allentown 4 days a week. Gotta love it...
