I don’t know what substantial work she ever did as an actress. I just don’t think Lady Lei or whatever the hell she played in that movie was up there with Long Day’s Journey into Night. She wasn’t pretty then (her poor body was obviously tortured into that sculptured look during the 1970s) and she’s a bit of a disaster now.
I’ve also have problems with people in L.A. telling me that she’s a great wit (if not a great actress). The evidence of that is she wrote an off-Broadway show called “Wishful Drinking.” Yup. Right up there with Oscar Wilde, lol!

I am not sure of the date, but I sat next to her in First Class on a flight from JFK to LAX. I was only about 20 years old at the time and a big Star Wars fan. This would have been about 30 years ago. I knew enough not to bother her too much. But I did say hi and introduced myself. She, on the other hand, could not be bothered with me. I begged my dad to let me sit in his seat but he didn’t want to sit next to her either. I spent most of the flight upstairs in the lounge area. She was really unpleasant.
And, I'm certain that NONE of the revelations has ANYTHING to do with the fact that Star Wars is being re-released (again), this time in 3-D.

I never approach so-called celebrities after an encounter with the awful Jimmy Breslin about 30 years ago. Did sit next to Ray Charles on a flight once. He was OK.
Because Titanic is being re-released and Lucas having a massive ego (his box office count is close to Titanic’s) doesn’t want to give Cameron an inch, so he had to “release” Star Wars all over again.
My husband and I went to high school with the father of her child. Back then everyone knew he was gay. He liked being in musicals.
How she didn’t know it puzzles me to this day.

Using a drug such as cocaine can make it worse.I don’t get it.I,too,suffer from bipolar disorder and I take the drugs that were prescribed.They help.I’m glad I’ve had the brains to stay away from drugs.When are people going to learn that drugs are destructive and that they can ruin a person for life? Relapse happens a lot and people need to get it into their heads that drugs can literally be a dead end.

He was in a wheelchair at the time WHEELING HIMSELF ~ those precious hands were pushing wheelchair wheels ~ and I can only guess that was part of his exercise routine.
There are thousands of fans who would be happy to push his wheelchair anywhere he needed to go.
He is my favorite musician.
I’m not so sure a young actress doing cocaine in 1976-77 is all that shocking. I wasn’t born yet but from what I read it was all over Hollywood back then, I can see it from every piece of entertainment from that era.
I don’t think anyone is shocked.
