No, I think this was the correct verse. You disagree. If you had something specific in mind, I’m guessing that you would have posted it.
But, thanks for not being apathetic anyway.
thanks for the link
LOL funny
I was giving you an opportunity to reconsider your position. You reinforced said position with which I took offense due to its heartless tone. Perhaps you didn't mean it as such. Regardless, here are a few verses that come to mind as being more appropriate for the state of frustration with his life in which this man must have been.
Prov 15:13 "A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit."
Prov 14:10 "Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy."
Psalm 38:7,8 "My back is filled with searing pain; there is no health in my body. I am feeble and utterly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart."
Job 3:24-26 "For sighing comes to me instead of food; my groans pour out like water. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil."
Psalm, Matthew, Mark "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
A most difficult place in which to find oneself. Anguish of soul, yes. Prideful, hardly.
