Chi-lee is now Chee-lay. Pack-ih-stan is now Pah-kee-stahn.
Peking is now Bay-zhing
Bombay is now Mumbai Pseudo-intellectual posturing.
Don't forget Nick-uh-rah-gwa is now Nee-keh-rrrrrahhhh-gwa. I've also noticed some now are saying May-hee-ko for Mex-ih-ko.
As for the "posturing" --- these days it's not just intellectual but has begun to take the form of bowing down. ;-)

Because I’ve been told it’s not nice to say rag head.
To: tubebender
No, I don’t have the list. I just grabbed a few names and put them up. Again Please use the entire list so all FReepers will learn how to spell Moslem properly.

Are you sure it isn’t “Muzzle ‘em”?
To: bicyclerepair
Pedophile-worshippers is the most accurate I think. But knowing the definitions, itll be mozlim.
Muzzies claim they don't worship Muhammad but by the sum of their actions it sure looks like they do. They also say he is not divine. That he was just the most perfect man. But going by their actions they do elevate this miserable critter to divine status

I think this is nothing but a game of semantics. It really doesn't matter how you spell it if you know what they actually represent.
I keep hearing about all the moderates yet I never see any of them stand up and protest against the ‘radical’ 1-2%.
So until the majority stands up, defends this country, shouts down the “disturbed”, moslems, muslims, jihadis, whatever, will all be considered the enemy.

"A Muslim in Arabic means "one who gives himself to God," and is by definition, someone who adheres to Islam. By contrast,
a Moslem in Arabic means "one who is evil and unjust" when the word is pronounced, as it is in English, Mozlem with a z."
There is currently only a small percentage of people who know when the word is pronounced, Mozlem with a z means "one who is evil and unjust".

I have a very Irish last name. I get VERY offended when liberals do not pronounce it with an Irish Brogue (even though I really can’t do it myself).
