Particular, combining human DNA with plants, and other such modifications, creating ‘new’ species of fauna.

The theories are sound and the results are impressive.

Certainly, there are cases where soils do not have deficiencies. Where there are no deficiencies, there is no need for supplementation.

First, determine whether your soil could use the additional trace minerals. Also, determine what the salt tolerance of the crops you’re growing. Study the issue further and determine whether supplimenting with trace minerals is right for you.

I’m also not saying that what I did in terms of experiment was really all that important. There are many many many experiments. I wanted to be able to say that in my personal experience, the diluted seawater did not kill the wheatgrass.

I grew the wheatgrass from seed to about 10 inches. One on fresh water every watering, one on diluted seawater every watering. They came out about the same. It doesn’t prove anything except that you can grow wheatgrass from seed to 10 inches using 20:1 fresh:sea, and it’ll grow about as fast as freshwater. That really isn’t saying much of anything, it doesn’t mean that everyone should do it. It only says exactly what it says.

It remains to be seen how much sexual mingling such transgenic plants do...
Thanks Palter!

That likely means that transgenic canola plants are cross-pollinating in the wild—and swapping introduced genes

Whatever. That likely means those damn seagulls haven't been using the port-a-potties I place around my fields.
