I never looked at it that way
All I know at 61 years old I can look back at some stupid things I did as a teenager that would have made & DID make my parents “less than enthused” with my choices. I wonder if all the critical ones here have the same experience? I guess my point being at some time in our teen years (A.K.A. “the genius phase!”) we all make poor choices regardless of our parents values, concerns, threats, punishments, etc.
Playgirl, reality shows, Kathy Griffin fake dates, and now a “music video” in which he trashes the woman who is the only reason he isn’t mopping the floor at the feed store for a living. Is there any showbiz cliche this fame whore bonehead won’t try in his efforts to become the next Kevin Federline? I’d be amazed if he didn’t next announced that “I has decided to become a double-naught spy!”
If you can be drafted, sign a contract, buy a house, join the military, buy a car, smoke, travel on your own, etc., you’re an adult. I have no control over my 20 year old step-son and neither does Gov. Palin over her oldest daughter.
