Actually, there may have been; the mall was full from the Capitol back past the Lincoln Memorial. But I didn't count them, and for sure Big Journalism wasn't counting us, so we'll never know.

But even if not, the comparison is absurd because we weren't just driving to the nearest store, we were traveling to be at the rally. A great many of us spent more than the price of an iPhone to be there.

And there weren't any counter protesters to speak of; I saw none. Whereas for every person returning an iPhone, and getting money for doing so, there are more than 50 people buying an iPhone - and paying to get it. The difference between paying for a phone and getting paid for a phone is twice the price of the phone.
