chasing down a hungry bear doesn’t seem like a bright idea to me. Agreed. To me, this is the funniest part of the article: "neighbors called to report a woman was chasing a bear down an alley." Imagine the police officer receiving this call over the radio.

I wasn’t aware that rabbits could scream. Anyway, it is unfortunate, but the authorities are probably going to have to put this bear down. When they get this bold, they become a danger to every form of life, including humans.

Yep, when they are injured or in danger they scream quite loudly. In fact Coyote calls are made that imitate a rabbits screams. Coyotes will come into the call and get themselves shot.
