My personal opinion is that Germany takes it all. They are a young team, very strong, and playing extremely well together. I have money on the Netherlands, but I believe Germany is the team to beat.

Messi is a class act. Too bad for Tevez too.

So typical of the Argie mindset.

Even better, is the fact that their tiny neighbor, Uruguay is still in it. That really has to burn them.

People in BOTH Argentina and Brazil are still upset that Uruguay won the 1930 World Cup (Uruguay 4, Argentina 2) and 1950 World Cup (Uruguay 2, Brazil 1).

Yes, but Urugay had a lucky "win" against Ghana after a rather pedestrian performance against South Korea. In short: They were lucky. If the US had just a tiny bit more luck, they'd be in the semifinals right now (the match against Ghana went into extra time, they were pretty much equal, as was Ghana and Uruguay).

The Netherlands had to win against Brazil. Germany had England and Argentina and Spain had Portugal. 3 spots were hard to get, one was a free-for-all.
