I'm supposed to feel sorry for someone who did not engage in the age old practice of caveat emptor?

I bought tickets once from a scalper for the Cave at Emptor. Of course, I found out they were bogus. Man, what a rip!

Yeah, I wonder what law firm he got to sue the other law firm. I doubt you’re gonna get a top notch firm to take a case like this. I assume the defendants will appeal it and drag it on for another couple of years, and who knows what the law actually says. The appellate court might just find the original law firm fulfilled its legal obligation to make sure the sale went through without a hitch. It might be incumbent on Pippen to hire an expert to make sure the the jet is seaworthy. It might be like when you buy a house. The lawyer is there to see all the legal niceties are taken care of so the sale goes through and you own the house free and clear. But it’s up to the buyer to hire a home inspector to make sure the house won’t collapse.

All gulfstream engines cost near a mill and most owners are on a maintenance plan...pippin would have saved money if he had gone with netjet card
He also could have made money on the jet between 2000 and 2007 when prices rocked

Most likely he had an agreement with his attorneys to take care of the whole process including inspection.

You would not believe the cost of aircraft parts - new or used for jet or turbojet aircraft.

Thanks, guys. I knew someone would be along that would know the cost of these things :-)
