and besides-there is enough to preach about without even going near politics. Church/pastors should teach and guide and instruct on how to live a life pleasing to God. The other should just be common sense.

(Without clicking through all those links) I'm going to guess those endorsements are coming via a technically separate legal entity - not as a purely 501(c)(3) organization - set up so they can officially endorse candidates.
The distinction might not be visible to the public but those non-profits are not about to jeopardize their 501(c)(3) status in such a brazen way. They might be stupid in other ways, but not this one.
