I totally agree, plus, I don’t like watching soccer anyway, and find no charm in watching soccer for 90 minutes to a stirring 1-0 score and listening to that ridiculous noise.

I enjoy an occasional soccer game, I used to have season tickets back in the NASL days, but I refuse to watch the World cup with that incessant humm....it's on a frequency that I just can't stand.

I don't mind the low scoring games if the skill level is high enough because then the ball control and passing can be entertaining in themselves...just like watching a Barry Sanders 8 yard run that didn't score a TD...the balance, control and creativity can be enjoyable in themselves. But not if I have to listen to what sounds like hornets on steroids.
