Thanks. I bring it up just because it amuses me and exerices my mind. I don't expect anything to come from it. Social conservatives are nanny staters. The end justifies the means.

If conservatism is a 3-legged stool the only leg that is for limited government is the fiscal leg, and wouldn't you know it, guess which leg never gets anything but lip service from our politicos?

The social conservatives represent the anti-saloon league of yesteryear. The defense hawks represent Wilsonian foreign policy. And the deficit hawks? Well, we can see how well that's worked out.
