Pit bull attacks owners, sending one to hospital

We have been chased in the house twice now,,,

Once in the front yard(kids down range),,,

Second time one of the pits came over the fence after us,,,

I had no clear shot as it was dark,,,

In this state if you are put in fear of your life then you

can fire on anything/anybody that attacks you,,,

No matter where it happens,,,

I ain't gunna wait for some POS to kill my dawg to kill

it first,,,(state law),,,

No prob with shooting something that is a threat to me,,,

Fear of loss of life is the key,,,

Gun laws are different here,,,

We still have the right to defend ourselves without fear

if a threat to life happens,,,

FWIW : HarleyMama was at the range shooting from a rest...

There’s nothing quite like staring down the barrels of a pair of pearl handled pit bulls, I tell ya whut.

I sure hope not! Swiper woke me up at 1 this morning growling softly and bristled up like a porcupine, and pretty much dragged me to the front room; I don't know what was out there, but he was NOT happy with it. I stayed up until he and the chihuahua settled down, then went back to bed. This morning I noticed the screen has been partially pried off one of the front windows. 0.0

When I lived in Seattle a neighbor was going to get a pit bull for protection, they had small children and so did we so I was alarmed (That was 10 years ago and the attacks were ongoing even then). I then did my research and showed the neighbors statistically that their children were far more likely to be harmed by the pitbulls than any burglar, in fact, pit bulls are more likely to attack thier owners and even after years of living with them. Needless to say they didn’t get the stupid dog.
