"So what the hell do these conservatives want out of Obama? And does it matter if Obama throws some leaves on a tomb?"

Corn's statement makes my blood boil. It makes me crazy mad. But then he has the nerve to take it a step further and claim the moral high ground on the issue of those who have made the supreme sacrifice. Somebody talk me down.

Obama appears to approach his commander-in-chief responsibilities in an appropriately profound manner.

Stopped reading there. Corn has never been a serious person, just another shrill, bitchy socialist.

Vice President Dan Quayle (who had used family connections to get a slot in the National Guard during the days of the Vietnam War draft)

Gee, David; there is something known as a life. Maybe you'll finally get one in your waning seconds of existence...

Expect them to get a lot more shrill and bitchy the more the resident screws things up.

‘Unemployment is still near 10 percent.’

Only on Fantasy Island; in the United States, it’s a good deal higher than that.

WASHINGTON, May 28, 2007 – Evoking the memories of citizens who died defending America throughout history and urging a new generation to safeguard freedoms for which previous generations made sacrifices, President Bush commemorated Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery here today.

“Today we honor the warriors who fought our nation’s enemies, defended the cause of liberty, and gave their lives in the cause of freedom,” Bush said to a crowd of more than 5,000 people after laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns. “We offer our love and our heartfelt compassion to the families who mourn them. We pray that our country may always prove worthy of the sacrifices they made.”

Last fall, he made a midnight visit to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to witness the return of dead GIs -- which his predecessor never did.

Obama called the media first. a staged photo-op.

"There's a hole in the bottom of the ocean. Unemployment is still near 10 percent. There are two wars underway.

And the Kenyan still finds time to party, analyze sports, and gouge cup-sized holes all over every golf course he finds.

You forgot to add illegals pouring over the border, and no time to meet with a current governor. BTW, since George H. W. Bush came very near to being one of those interred at Arlington.. he has the cred to do what ever he wants!

President George W. Bush was attending Memorial Day services at the United States Military Cemetary in Normandy the only time he didn’t personally go to Arlington National Cemetary on Memorial Day. Way to go, Cornie. Why click a few keys and do some research when you can make it up? Your brand of ‘journalism’ (yellow) only involves your twisted idealogy, cynically masquerading as ‘truth.’
