If a 9/11 event occurs on this ashat’s watch, he will either through his hands in the air and surrender or curl up in a ball in the Oval office and cry like a baby. I would go for the latter.

Sestak is the top story here, not the spill, and it sounds like they've come up with a reasonable enough lie. “The job had no value” is at least reasonably plausible. If some reporter had asked “wow, you just said Obama offered you a job to drop out, what job was that?” and Sestak had answered with the name of a job with a salary, it would be a different story.

I think it was Dick Morris on an interview - talk radio - Hannity show maybe - he said he thought whitehouse read the wrong statute - that the fact the job was non-paying didn’t affect the legality of the offer - its’ illegal whether or not the job was a paying one.
Considering how bad these guys are at getting things right, I’d bet he’s right - they looked up the wrong law and said - ‘oh, we just have to say it was a freebie, and we’re off the hook’.

Dick Morris lacks a few things as a pundit. People think his skills at predicting are subpar. But I’m pretty sure that he know about these kinds of things from his Clinton years.
It’s very interesting. Is Morris the only person saying this so far, or are others seeing it the same way as Morris?
I’ve only heard Morris comments, but it was Friday - and the headlines today appear to be the ‘non-paying, nothing to see here, blahblahblah’ types based on what whitehouse wants them to say.
Have to wait till Sunday shows to see how much they repeat the non-paying pap, and hopefully our invisible republican spokesperson will take a strong stand if indeed it matters ‘not’ if a salary was to be paid.
He will discover a another white christian militia plot against the government which is tied to the tea party movement in all 57 states requiring a national civilian police just as strong as the military to respond to the threat.He will also ask for laws against hate speech, spreading false information, and media controls so that accurate factual information is presented because there are those out there who want to undermine confidence against the government and other institutions which are dedicated to the well being of the American people.It will be time to end the hate mongering and divisive threats that are generated by people and groups that want to return America to a time when not all Americans and immigrants were able to enjoy the full benefits of American society.That’s why he will ask for volunteers from the Organizing for America and others to monitor and report on anything that is against our common shared values.
