Is it a sign of the times or are people just crazier? Pointless murders are on the rise. What is the latest one? An Illinois man kills neighbor over dog urinating on his front lawn.
According to an ABC News report, former Marine Charles Clements allegedly shot Joshua Funches in the abdomen after he let his fox terrier urinate on his front yard. 69-year-old Clements was known for his immaculate yard and even won a few beautification contests. Neighbors described him as “obsessed” with his lawn, but no one expected him to commit murder over it.
23-year-old Funches was found on the ground in a vacant parking lot by police. Clements was picked up shortly afterward. Currently, he is being held on a $3 million bond. The shooting occurred on Mother’s Day turning a celebratory day for both families into a nightmare.
>>> I wouldnt live in that thing if it was lowest rent in town.
Looking it up I found one real estate listing for the premises. It seems nice enough as condos go, and by the water the views aren’t so bad.
Impression from the ad is the problem isn’t the apartment, the building, or the building management. You can find management like this anywhere, they come and go. The problem is who would voluntarily want to live in Baltimore.
3450 sq. ft. showhome. This raw space features incredible natural light with 180’ of water and city views from 3 exposures. Outdoor living comprises 4 terraces. First Class Amenity at Scarlett Place including 24 hr. front desk staff and security, indoor pool & fitness center This home is offered with 2 deeded garage parking spaces. $1,299,000 USD
Counting my “outdoor living” I have 8 times that much space at least. 24 hour front desk staff and security courtesy of my dog and my firearm collection. views on all 4 sides plus the roof if you climb up on it...then there is the detached garage that gives you 4 more views plus the roof. That’s a total of 10 views. there’s a creek within a stone’s throw(if your arm is good)...so that’s water and way way more than 180 feet of it.
all for 25grand when I bought it.
and to top it all off, i don’t pick up any dog crap and no one cares if I do or don’t. raccoon and deer don’t care either.
