OMG.
Throw the encyclopedia set at him. He is not too young to know better. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Adult neighbor who sell candy? I hope he’s some kind of vendor...
I don’t know what is more disturbing..the 14 year old or the adult neighbor who sells candy.
The girl wasn’t exactly innocent in the incident.
More disturbing is the neighbor selling bathtub cheese.
Exactly she threw water first at the 14yo so she did start the fight.
When they knocked on the door, two teens answered telling Jessica they were out of candy.
Police say Jessica got a bottle of water, returned to the apartment and threw
it on the door as the boy opened it.
Police say the boy chased her outside with two 14-ounce tumbler cups that he poured down her back.

Hmmmm
An eye for an eye
Read the article. It doesn’t sound like this water was actually “boiling”. It was something the boy already had handy in a “tumbler cup”, most likely because it was something he was drinking. And he threw it on her in retaliation for her throwing a bottle of water at him as he opened the door.
But read the article. No way was this water actually “boiling”.
Boiling or not, the kid got 2nd degree burns somehow.
And throwing extremely hot water on a younger kid because they hit you with room-temperature or even cold water is not “an eye for an eye.”
LOL
something fishy about the whole setup.
Its stops boiling when you take it of the flame. Lets call it scalding then if you want to be technical, and yes it still does the same damage. My “non-boiling” water damage sent me to the Hospital and required painful skin grafts.
I wouldn't expect a 9yo to exercise good judgment. So yeah, she is kinda innocent in my book.
right, so throwing water at someone gives them license to out boiling water on you? Are you and the other asshole crazy?
No, the water couldn’t have been boiling since he already had it in a tumbler. But what exactly was this tumbler? I have some plastic glasses which are called tumblers that are those old brown plastic ones like cafes used to have back in the 60s and 70s. There’s also the metal tumblers that were colored pink and blue and also from that era. I can’t see either type of tumbler being held in the boy’s hands if they were that hot. Yes, I know the girl was taken to the hospital but this story doesn’t add up. And the accompanying picture is a total joke.
No just pointing out that it was a kids fight that went too far. If the first child hadn’t started it it wouldn’t have went this far. The story did say no charges were filed so obiviously others see it the same way. No reason to call anyone names.
