We've always been able to "do for ourselves," which is one of the reasons why America is so great. If you've ever had the opportunity to travel abroad and see what it is like in other countries, you come home appreciating the "precious rarity" that is the USA. (Or was.)

I also meant to add, Charlie Crist accepted the Fed money, and took a lot of heat for it from the party. I think many states opted out of using the signs. Everything that is up is now down these days. ;(
