No insult meant to Ludwig van, I’m just not a huge classical guy, so my appreciations of his skills are pretty limited. For some weird reason I can enjoy Mozart better, maybe just because of that movie “Amadeus” or something.
I guess I can relate a lot more to my contemporaries and that gives me a better ear for stuff from the last century or so. I’m no critic of any of the greats from musical history, and all my taste is probably in my mouth ;)
