Not bad!! All that foamy coke was foamy with CO2- the kid used an impromptu carbon dioxide fire extinguisher!

Long time ago at work some sawdust started on fire early in the morning. The boss spotted a cup of coffee nearby and threw it on the flames and was quite surprised when the flames flared up and got bigger.
Turns out the coffee was actually Jack Daniels and the employee drinking it got in a bit of trouble.

This raised an important question. What would have happened if the kid had dissolved a Mentos in the coke before attempting to extinguish the fire?

“Teen extinguishes dad with Coke”
My first impression was to read the headline assuming “extinguish” meant “put an end to” and believing I would be reading about the first-ever Coke homicide.

Note to self: Always keep a 2-liter bottle of Coke handy at humblegunner’s place.

Will this work for a typical H.A.T. Gathering?
We normally only put explosives on bonfires, rarely something as tame as highly flammable liquids.
I recommend practice with the coke bottles to ensure sufficient fire extinguishing skills.

I recommend practice with the coke bottles We blow those up too.
Eaker is still mad from when I dumped out his Sprite to use the bottle as an H2O bomb.

After Michael Jackson suffered his burns during the Pepsi commercial a few years after Pryor’s freebasing accident, they teamed together to do a commercial for the “Ignited Negro College Fund”.

Will this work for a typical H.A.T. Gathering?I think the biggest danger is Eaker having to keep humblegunner from blowing up his Sprite bottles.
