Throw it back in their faces. Ask him if he’s willing to show up to school dressed in the most outlandish attire possible. make a mockery of their mockery.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Yank the kid and homeschool him.

Cutting off the school’s life blood is the ONLY thing they will listen to.

I am not prejudiced, and I have gay and/or cross-dressing friends whom I love dearly,...

The writer ought to get one or more of these friends to send a nasty-gram to the school. That would make their puny heads explode.

If he was attending a vocational school in the field of textiles, women's fashion, etc, then it would make sense.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It wouldn't be OK, as far as I am concerned, for boys to cross dress regardless of what kind of program they were in. I would resent, as a taxpayer, being forced by the government to pay for it, as well

It is impossible to have a religiously, politically, or culturally neutral education. IMPOSSIBLE! It is axiomatic.

So...Finally!... You have bumped your nose into a government school ruling that offends one of your non-neutral religious, political, and cultural values. ( What took so long?)

There is **ONE** thing that single payer, socialistic, government schools are really good at: CAUSING CONFLICT among the various groups of citizens who are forced to use the schools and those who are forced to pay for them. ( Oh!...And by “force” I mean the threat of armed police action that enforces all laws.)

ALL schools must make hundreds ( possibly thousands) of binary decisions whose content and consequences can never be religiously, culturally, or politically neutral.

With private schooling the parents, teachers, and principals privately agree on these decisions. Government schooling though involves the **establishment**, by the government, of a religious, cultural, and political worldview that can never be neutral in content or consequences. The winner of whose worldview will be established by the government is always awarded to the biggest political bully.

ALL government schools are a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination. Hopefully, now with this cross dressing decision, you see ( and personally feel) one of the practical consequences.

Solution: ALL government must be shut down. We must begin the process of privatizing all K-12 education.

You know...I'm always praising the Maple Shade School district where we live for the great job they do with my kids.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The school isn't doing a “good job”. YOU and YOUR KIDS are doing the good job! ( Congratulations!)

The most any government school does is send home a tuition-free curriculum for the parents and kid to follow. It is in the home that 99% of the hard work of learning takes place. The school then administers tests, and grades projects.

If you know of an academically successful child, thank the **parents**! I think that the bumper sticker that reads, “If you can read this, thank a teacher.”, should instead read, “If you can read this, thank an ‘afterschooling’ PARENT!”

ALL government schools in this nation teach everything from an atheistic godless point of view.

How could the Maple Shade schools being doing a “good job” when it is teaching your child to think atheistically? When did that become a “good job”?

ALL government schools teach children to be socialists. Simply by attending children learn that the government has the power to take money from their neighbor to pay for a service their parents want for tuition-free. Gee! If the government can take money from their neighbor to pay for tuition-free schools, why not a thousand other socialist wants and needs?

When did it become a “good job” to teach children to be comfortable with accepting socialism?

Within one to three generations of the opening of the first single payer, monopoly, cartel, socialist government schools in the mid-1800s, we had:

** The IRS
** Direct election of senators
** The federal reserve
** “One World” attempts with the League of Nations followed by the abominable U.N.
** FDR and his New Deal elected four times!
** Johnson's Great Society
** Thousands of socialist programs, agencies, and offices
** The Department of Education
** The abolishment of the gold standard

Finally, government schools in many ways treat children (who have committed no crime) like prisoners. They are sentenced by the government to prison-like buildings. Inside the buildings, the government strips them of their First Amendment Rights. It it the government who dictates when and what they will speak and publish. The government determines with whom they will or will not assemble. The government forbids free expression of the child's religious beliefs and imposes an atheistic worldview on the child. The government tells the child when he will eat, rest, and exercise. There are metal detectors, armed guards in the halls, lock downs and strip searches.

Even their school transport resembles prison work gang buses!

So?...When did it become a “good job” for the child to learn to be a compliant little prisoner of the state?

Government schools didn't make Obama possible. Government schools made Obama INEVITABLE!

Can he wear a bomber jacket and khakis and go as Amelia Earhart?

Or can he have a “sore throat” that day?
