I have a friend who just used tweezers and got a nasty infection.
Anti biotic ointment effective against MRSA, swab in each nostril once a day for 7 days every couple of months. I do a lot of work in hospitals so maybe not required as ofter for most. Not a Dr. so seek professional advice for your circumstance.
