Politically, shes damaged goods. Wow...to be "damaged goods," she's doing pretty damned well these days. I guess you missed her speech today at the SRLC too.
To: cartervt2k
make something up... which is why we are talking about the former governor of Alaska as possibly "damaged goods".

One of the guys I’ve become interested in is Paul Ryan.
He has put together a great plan for getting us out of this mess. Newt is supporting Paul’s plan and I just got an email about it the other day and I haven’t finished reading it. It claims to have the formula for making SS solvent, along with MediCare.
I know that during the farce called “the healthcare summit”, Ryan was a total thorn in the side of Obama .. which makes me think there may be more to Paul Ryan than meets the eye.
He’s smart as a whip; he’s pleasant looking; can speak easily - not with overly elitist words to look important - but with straight talk which the majority of us can understand.
It would be nice to have a really financially smart person for President for a change .. especially after the mess of an admin we have now.

She is nothing but Obama of the right.Wow, so Palin hates all things America, eh?
I don't know if she will run but whatever she decides, she has my support. And my guess is that the tens of thousands of folks that hauled themselves out to the middle of the desert to hear her would say the same thing.

Another idiotic response from a Palin cultist. All those stupid excuses about debt and whatever silly excuses you Palin cultists come up with will not work in the real world of politics. Second the joke is that she accomplished meaningless things when she was half governor is another laughable joke. The biggest joke of all is that you think she can resign because she achieved what she was set to do. You Palin cultists do not understand how stupid you sound.
Another post, devoid of substance, except the vitriol thrown at Governor Palin and those who dare to support her.
You been at the bottle again?
To: jveritas
The Palin cultists will never accept this simple reality. And the Palin Derangement Syndrome sufferers will never accept the simple reality that she is the ONLY potential 2012 GOP candidate who is energizing the crowds and taking the fight straight to Obama. Who else is getting under his skin like Palin is---Romney? Paul? Pawlenty? Pence? Thune? Barbour? You NEVER hear them mentioned in any White House/DNC counterblasts. Obama's minions are always attacking Palin.
Now why is that?
To: Virginia Ridgerunner
Every now and then I come to the "Worship Palin" threads to expose the stupidity of Palin cultists. I do not have an obsession with this incompetent joke or her stupid cultists. There are dozens of "Worship Palin" threads each day on FR and I only participate in one of this thread once every week or two again to put some sanity on this forum, speak the truth and expose the stupidity of Palin cultists.
Examples of Palin cultists utter stupidity: You made the utterly stupid assumption that no White Male can beat Obama. You may need to enlighten us how did you come up with this stupid conclusion.

I like him as well, the only problem I have with him, correct me if I am wrong(which is totally possible on this), but he voted for at least on of the Bailouts.

You throw around the word "Stupid" alot.
I don't think it means what you think it means.

Look at the small number of Republicans the Dems/MSM absolutely hate. From the group the candidate will emerge.

I do not drink but never the less the I am 100% correct on this issue. Palin resignation just 2.5 year after being a governor of 600,000 people is “political death” for her when seeking the office of the Presidency and no excuse under the sun she will come up with will change this simple fact.

And BTW, do you consider Jim Robinson a Palin "cultist" too based on his positive posts on the very threads that you are damning as "Worship Palin" threads?

I think by most objective accounts Palin is telegenic, has the right conservative credentials, and can match Obama in large crowd-draw. She also has executive experience and strong energy credentials. That said, the media is the message and fairly or not, she has been “imaged” as lacking in foreign policy depth. The common and repeated mantra of “common-sense” solutions isn’t going to cut it in the post-Cold War field of foreign policy expertise. Can this be remedied and the “image” undone? Yes. A major foreign policy speech or op-ed in the Wall Street Journal is a good place to start.

Your utter lack of common sense is very revealing here.
To: jveritas
She's dead in the water and that's why Obama and his thugs keep debating her, huh?
Face it, the dems are scared of her and so are others...it appears.

I do not follow his posts a lot but if he is a Palin cultist and if he wants to ban me so be it. You are a coward who cannot stand on his own so you pinged him hoping that he bans me. As I said I do not really care a bit if I got banned. You still need to explain to us why a “White Male” cannot defeat Obama in 2012.

The only problem with that position, is a built-in implied assumption that the media would not do the same thing, as far as image is concerned, to every other single ACTUAL conservative that is a fighter and resonates with the conservative base.
I guarantee you, if any articulate, telegenic, actual conservative, who is a fighter and excites the base comes along, they too will get the same drubbing in the press.
The best part of Governor Palin, is she is the Ultimate Fighter!
She doesn't know what the words quit, surrender or compromise mean once she establishes a position.
To: CAluvdubya
Obama wants her as his opponent because he is guaranteed a total victory in 2012. Sometimes you elevate someone who is easy to beat, it is called political strategy but you Palin cultists cannot see this.
