I had that about 4 years ago. TOO many cheeseburgers with sesame seed buns, they said.

I had an infection due to diverticulitis. I will be praying for you. I am all too familiar with the pain.
Prayers sent for you. May the Lord heal you back to perfect health.
Father, We know that not a hair falls from our head that you are not aware of. We know that your child Kimberly is in your care and protection. How awesome is your love for us. We ask that you watch over her and comfort her, give her the peace of knowing your embrace. Be with the doctors and other care givers and open their eyes and understanding so that they may provide the best care that they can. Be with Kimberly’s friends and family and give them comfort too Lord and we ask all these thing in the Name of your Precious Son, Jesus. Amen
Prayers for you. I have a friend with Diverticulitis. Had colon resection. Nasty stuff.
Be careful and don’t eat anything the doctors don’t give you.
I just had surgery for diverticulitis in the early part of February. I am perfectly fine now. I did suffer through a few nasty painful flair ups of it though for months before they finally decided to operate. I sent 10 days in the hospital with the surgery and have a nice scar through my belly button to show for it now. I did lose some of my colon because of it but hey, I am that much lighter now. :-)
If the Demerol doesn’t work ask for Dilaudid. I was on a Dilaudid pump before and after the surgery and can happily say I don’t remember most of it but had fun :-)
Kimmie, may you actually feel the healing hand of God touch you, as you are healed! Prayers for you will continue.

Your thought of early release are premature. The pros will fix you up as fast as they can, but be a patient patient.
At least you have your confuser to keep you occupied....
