What with all of the versatility and applications of the IPad,

is too late to rename it the “Maxi-Pad”?

I think that would really help sales considerably. Please forward this suggestion to Apple, as I don’t want any profit from my suggestion. Thanks.

Soldiers can break anything. These things are going to have to be made shock resistant and waterproof before they are going to be useful in military environments.

Sounds like it could be joint-venture time: Panasonic to harden the
device, Apple to supply the base instrumentation/software.
