No mandatory donation for cclean. The screen pops up, but you can continue to download without giving them any money or info. I just downloaded it.

This is the one I donwnload. I did go ahead and subscribe to the service for the extra features. I was amazed at how many more errors it found that Max Registry Cleaner didn’t.

Yes, reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system. Cleans that nasty, corrupted registry every time!
