These people need to get their kids out of this school. What is wrong with parents? It’s like sending their kids to a war zone.
Perpetrator as victim. That value sickens me. It's a typical liberal value.
This leads me to believe there were many bystanders - what were their reactions? Cheering him on? Rushing to the girl's rescue? Taking pics with their camera phones instead of calling 9 1 1? Is this attack on utube yet?
Schools are rumor mills in part because students are usually the last to know, just like in prison. I’ll bet that this disgusting perp has done things like this before. Nothing less than expulsion and assault charges would be appropriate.

Police said Treacy was dating a 13-year-old girl who was using Ratley’s cell phone to text him. According to police, Ratley texted Treacy something about his brother’s suicide, which set him off. Police said Treacy then came to Deerfield Beach Middle and almost beat up the wrong girl before his girlfriend led him to Ratley.
According to Broward Sheriff Al Lamberti, the girl led 15-year-old Wayne Treacy to Josie Lou Ratley, 15, after the two older teens had exchanged increasingly combative text messages.
The 13-year-old girl and Treacy had been dating, but broke up, Lamberti said. Treacy was trying to reach the girl, who did not have a cellphone, and contacted her friend Ratley.
She told him in text messages that she did not approve of the relationship. At some point, she made a comment about Treacy’s older brother, who committed suicide last year.

Definitely premeditated. If the girl dies (and I pray to God she survives), it will be Murder One.

As a dad to two girls, I can tell you - ain't going to happen.
UPDATE: Today she is still in a coma and if she comes out of it, brain damage is likely. Tragic.
And per my post #34 and this:
“I’d bet my house that this is a single mother home. Can we please put a punitive tax on single mothers and the fathers that abandon their children for all that they cost society?”
Someone owes me a house! Sure enough the boy is being raised by a single mom. Probably a contributing factor to his older brother’s suicide.
