[I had a head of hair until my 30s and then all downhill..]
Yeah, the decline usually begins in the 30’s. It’s in the genes.
A great movie explains using wigs.:)

Depends. Can start at different periods. My father went bald in his 20s. A few generations before that, the males in my family were known for having considerable hair, a pic of my g-g grandfather in the 1800s in his 80s had a massive, thick head of hair. One of the sons married into another family, which had the bald gene prominently, and most of the males from then on lost their hair early. They still curse that maternal wing of the family for the baldness 130+ years after the fact !
Yeah, I remember that, funny stuff. They never did show him under water...

Studies are done on everything. I have twin girls, studies say that usually comes from the father side.
My father had a full head of dark hair at 72yrs. I’ve read male ‘hair probabilities’ are passed on from the mothers side.
Who knows, life happens.
Thank you!
Yeah, his hairline had already begun receding by then. Probably spent a bit of time with the hairdresser before they put him before the camera.
My hair pattern came from my material grandfather.
I'll vouch for that. My Dad was solid dark Ronald Reagan hair all his life. Me? I followed my Mom's brothers. Salt and pepper at 27, followed by grey at 35.
Yeah, I wrote they were passed on from the mothers side.
Interesting, huh?
[I’ll vouch for that. ]
Seems to be a true fact about how the hair pattern is passed on from the maternal side.
My twins father’s side of the family also had several sets of twins in it. That theory seems to be true too.
.
Grow a beard and when trimming it - a bit of Super Glue on top and......
Lol, then you’ll look like ‘plugs’, but they will never grow. Funny
Wow, what a darling car devolve! I forgot what you called it but will check what you wrote.
Unusual to find the photos on a nice plain background like that.
Thanks, great post!!
Both Sean and his brother Neil are bald as was their father and grandfather who, before they themselves began to lose their hair, they referred to as "old baldy".
Neil Connery
I knew Sean was bald later on, just didn’t realize it happened so early in life to him. I’ve never seen a picture of his brother before, you can see the resemblance.
