You'd think the local English paper of the day, the Panama American, would know, and they reported his birth as being in the Coco Solo submarine base hospital. Plus his mother, who is still alive, reports he was born there.
But you are correct in that as the child of two citizens "born in the armies" of the nation, he qualifies as "born in the country" regardless of physical location. So he is indeed a natural born citizen.
AFAIK, it's not. It is the one he presented to the Senate committee, though.
But, it's all moot now anyway. It's not like he's going to run again.
Other cannidates had histories. Birthplaces you could go see. People you could talk to about his birth, his parents, and so forth. There was no question that Gerald Ford was born Leslie King in Omaha. There was no question William J. Clinton was born William J. Blythe, although there was and remains some question about who his biological father was, although the most likely alternative candidate is the brother of his mother's first husband, and both of them were not just US Citizens, but Texans. :)
I have done extensive research james and I have still yet to have been able to find ONE student that can place him in ONE class at Columbia. The link you sent me just adds to the fact that no one can place him there and if they were students they choose not to talk about it. And the picture at the head of said article has been proven to photo shopped.
Perhaps the following can add to your extensive research along with the previously posted links to Obama’s college roommate’s article in the Columbia College Alumni magazine and the quotation from the professor of one of the political science seminars that Obama took. Additionally the article from the “Sundial” student newspaper and the fact that Obama’s name is listed in the 1983 commencement directory of graduates should assist with your research.

My sense of objectivity and faith in this country doesn't shift simply because the party I don't vote for wins an election. That invariably happens in countries that allow elections. If one really has respect for any democratic process enshrined in any document, they keep their head about it.
It seems to me that this was part of the argument for McCain's natural born citizen status in the Senate's SR511. Thus, along with the two-citizen-parent requirement, we have the Senate giving further credence to Vattel as the source of the definition of "natural born citizen" with this exception.
well then this old guy respectfully disagrees with another old guy then. obama and his group are unlike any of the age old dem./rep. arguments. they are sixties era radicals and nothing like these people has been ever turned lose or in power in the United States of America. they go far beyond what we have known.

Sure, Dr. Orly makes mistakes. We all do. But Dr. Orly is no dummy. How many of us could go to a foreign country, learn 5 languages, establish a successful dental practice, a successful real estate business AND pass the California state bar- one of the hardest in the U.S. to pass?
She may be a ‘mail order’ attorney and not a Harvard lawyer, but she IS an attorney with all the rights and privilages of a Harvard lawyer nevertheless!
The point is; she has the passion, the zeal, the courage of her convictions and the love of America and its freedoms (unlike many of our ‘great’ attorneys and ‘patriots’ who criticize her) that will not let her give up!
She is exhausted. She is nervous. She is frustrated. It is reported that she gets by on 4-5 hours of sleep per night, and her family is very worried about her health- as well as her safety.
She makes mistakes. But she will NOT give up. She will keep on until she gets it right.
Stop tearing her apart. The Obots on FR don’t need our help.
The obots are scared to death of this little lady and her determination. That’s why they come out in droves all over the net on forums, chat rooms and even the national news to attack and ridicule.
Even if Orly NEVER brings Obama to trial, she has almost single handly brought his ineligibility to world wide attention, caused him to spend MILLIONS on lawyers to keep his records hidden AND CAUSED THE MUZZIE TO SWEAT BULLETS!!!
