My socks usually fit like that.I have a problem with all socks being too big.People walk into the house and look at my shoes and say “I didn’t know you had kids?”...not kids shoes they are mine!

I have the same problem. It’s awful that they only make socks for woman who fit only huge feet. Kids socks are cut too small around the top to wear. The bonus is I always find nice shoes on the sale rack!

I’ve been in marketing and product development for legwear of various types, socks included, for years. I know just about every manufacturer, distributor, importer, marketer, licensee, what have you.

I could even get you custom made socks specific to your foot, or with your wife’s picture knitted into it, custom athletic socks with logos, knit-in shin guard pockets for hockey or lacrosse, sky’s the limit. Technical features, specialty performance yarns, any color you can imagine.

I just finished the digital end for a gorgeous collectible sock with the Old Well at UNC in a snowstorm, the entire leg is wrapped with the visual, it’s pretty as a postcard, and am looking forward to seeing the finished end result early next week. I’d post a pic, but we’re saving it for a big trade show.

As far as your problem, it sounds to me like the toe box is an issue, with the standard area being either too short or too long, probably too long.

Hey....socks vanities are my territory.

My pet peeve is tight socks. I have trouble finding any that don't seem too tight after a few washings. Even socks labeled "relaxed fit" don't seem to live up to their name very long. I don't have unusually thick ankles and I don't have diabetes or circulation problems, so I'm not sure why this seems to be bothering me more than other people.

I have a couple pairs of Point 6 socks and love 'em. Cabela's Outfitter socks are good, too.

I swear by gold toe socks. They stay up and they also come in extra large size for both men & women. I need the staying up and hubby and the kid need the extra large. They also have great, fantastic staying power, wash after wash after wash. You can get them at JC Pennys, even the extra large. Also, if you can find an outlet store that is very good.

You might like the gold toe (I THINK these were gold toe too) socks I found, in like a big-kid/adult cross over size. I found them at the gold toe outlet store, it only sold socks, so of course they had lots of types.

I got them for my niece who is only 8 but is growing like a weed and like my daughter has big feet. I can’t tell her shoes from her moms by looking anymore.

I think they gave the size as 10 (kids) - 4 (adult). Something like that.
