You have nailed it perfectly. The gang of rats chose Ahnold to run, knowing voters would go dippy over him plus Dems liked the Kennedy wife. Now in retro IMO he produced the same effect on people as Hussein in ‘08.

Heard it in my sleep, here's an extract: "We have to face the real enemy, Islamic Jihad, and not be afraid to even use the word in our struggle against the forces of evil that threaten to kill or convert us. Our national security has been compromised to a shocking level, with infiltration in the military higher command, the FBI, the--"

Are “Tea Party” people “my-way-or-the-highway” people? I have been going to tea parties and I will vote for the best person closest to my values for office ... even if no conservative is running.

Sarah has been warning us not to get too caught up in strict tests for conservatives. It can doom us in 2010 and 2012.

Could be time for a tea-party-backed independent in IL. He may not win, but, like Doug Hoffman, he could command a good percentage of the vote.

Good day FRiend. Your post is most excellent. And most kind to molybdenum. You give moly the benefit of the doubt. You were there. You saw others there. You know why you were there and why you are a part of this movement. It's not a party and doesn't have a 'leader' per se. Hell, any one of the attendees could have gotten up and delivered the content. That's why it is a true grassroots movement in reaction to the most awful Executive & Legislative branches of government EVER.

IMHO, molybdenum (from seeing other posts on many other threads) is either a "concern troll" or a Rondementalist trying to be a fly in the ointment of Sarah or Tea Party threads. Sorry moly.

No, I'm sorry you misunderstand and single me out in your search for 'concern' trolls and a "Reondementalist"(??). Maybe I should brush up on writing skills & correct ways of expressing doubts & asking questions. Go ahead and reject any posters who are merely trying to warn other conservatives and keep the Tea Party movement alive.

That weird word you use, Rondementalist--good luck with it, whatever it means, to me right now, it is psychobabble.

Whoever "The gang of rats" is, they had nothing to do with Arnold's run. He had wanted to enter politics for a long time and had the money to self-finance. Your entire post is the typical dishonest crap that most Lefties use when they assume no one has any memory or knowledge of what really happened.

If the 60s radicals who control the Assembly and Senate hadn't turned the state over to unions, environmentalists and Marxist activists, Arnie would have succeeded. I'll bet you have them on speed dial.

Try trashing someone who isn't a Republican. Bet you can't.

I'm glad you asked. Thank you for the opportunity to explain. First, think Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. Imagine all of the images that that conjures up. Next, think of the caricature that libs throw onto the word "fundamentalist". Think of the image that that brings to mind. Clearly, this presents a group of people with certain beliefs (read: nutty) blindy following a human leader (read: immensely flawed and obviously nutty).

Okay, then think of Ron Paul. First name RON followed by DAMENTALIST. Clever, huh?

Full disclosure. I stole it from Paulycy, who is a FReeper idol of mine. I used to use Paulistas but much prefer Rondamentalist now.

Servant of the Cross, you have 'idols'...?

I do not.

I happen to despise Scientology. I am not a Paulista. BTW, your word is too long. I don't worship any humans, they are flawed, and I am a (flawed)Christian.

As for Rand Paul, acorns don't fall far from the oak, but he sounds very conservative to me at this point. Sarah Palin supports him. Another thing: If Ron Paul is anti-Semite as are many of his followers, where does that leave me, when I strongly support Israel's right to exist and strongly believe our leaders past & present have interfered with her to the point of forcing her to give up her land!

Hitler's Nazi Germany killed millions of Jews, Stalin killed great numbers of Jews; under the Third Reich a citizen did not have the right to free speech and any speech had to agree with the nazi doctrine. Or, you vere kaput, or sent by cattle car to those nice cammps with the wrought iron sign: Arbeit Mach Frei.

I was kidding about the word "idol". I also haven't singled you out. I was posting with Freedom'sWorthIt this weekend. He was reporting direct from the Tea Party convention. I saw the article "Moderate Republicans Crashing the Tea Party" this morning at the Washington Times. I thought "oh, no, here we go again". I did a title search on FR and saw that it was already posted. I noticed Freedom'sWorthIt had comments to the article and then happened upon the back and forth between the two of you.

I fail to see anything in your posts that illustrate all you are trying to do is "warn other conservatives and keep the Tea Party movement alive."

That's why I posted what I did to you. I apologize for any offense taken to this opinion of mine. IMO, lots of reason to be suspicious on FR these days.

OK, points taken. I personally am joining a TeaParty group in the town where I live in hopes we will be able to affect a lib-infested larger area to the north. I've discovered a couple of FReepers in my area, one w/ a blog.

All these years I've been amazed at the ignorance of so many voters, and the pro-lib mindset of those who follow politics. The TeaParty movement is awakening many of these to the supreme importance of our Constitution. (There is One Higher up, of course!)
