I’m started now! SPEAKING OF BLUEGRASS jazz, have you ever heard Pat Cloud? Believe it or not, he’s a five-string banjo player who can play straight-ahead jazz! Absolutely amazing stuff. Will blow your mind.

I'm a big Sade fan... glad to hear she's coming out with new music.

Check out her "Cherish The Day" video on her site below (scroll through the many videos).

She's standing on top of a tall building in NYC... there are some amazing shots of the World Trade Center. Give me chills...

Amen. Amen.

I enjoyed her reflection on her Grandparents.

Socialist/Catholics.

I scratched my head.
Then she gave more....
When it got to sharing lovers as part of the socialist agenda her Grandparents departed that political agenda because of their Catholic faith.

Ah. Some relief in my head/chin scratching as the two cannot coincide.

(I dont know much about it all, just a faith living Catholic who believes in our founding Fathers agenda. Works for me and busy as I am not much time to ponder why others see no God or a socialist/marxist life style as the Way to Go)

Her music much reflected my heart as a woman.
I totally can aline with her as she was portrayed in the article.

I could cry to her music as pain/joy and a feminine side of my sexuality back then.

LOL She went dormant and I went chaste.
However one can listen to her music and feel all those feelings of a young womans heart/soul/sexuality in memories.

I cant wait to here her new music as a grown woman.

She is a work of art visually and vocally.
I have to laugh at the earlier posts here of guys scoring using her music on dates...
Back in the day of my young hyper sexuality I may have been one of their belt nothches...

But no. Never had a guy put on Sade to try to seduce me.

I loved and still love the blues/deep soul but I was attracted to men who loved Ac/DC.

Billy Holiday had a voice that to me was in the range (however different lifestyle) of Sade.

Hard to find good vocal/band music anymore.
Gaither Brothers stuff live can make me choke up....and lately I have tuned into a local Irish Celtic group.

I want intruments and vocals dang it not some studio mix.

Wow you move in some deathly circles.

In my circles we just try not to break hips/fall and watch our aging bodies so as not to spend time in a docs office or worse a hospital.

Damn just got my 5 year ticket to day surg for the black hose up the rear check. ACK!

Mammo came clean.

And to top things off my perfect vision went south and I have to wear glasses to drive/see/read...they call them progressive eye wear.

LOL Thank God the cholesteral/blood pressure/A1c ect are all still in the young zone.

I have even givin in to not coloring the hair and letting my white shine. LOL

As a perk I am late to the whole stage of menopause.

After that the face will shrivel in and loose its bounce.

Hey BUT I CAN listen to Sade new work and hopefully she will also mature in her music as I have in my body! /chin up
