So you think this will take off?
It *might*, but I’ll be surprised if it is really anything great. I’m never surprised at what Apple is able to push as if it’s the latest/greatest and the people believe it.
But this appliance looks better to hang on the fridge or stove...quick easy internet access. Kind of like my kodak picture frame, but with better input.

So you think this will take off?Well if you (and others here) don't, I suggest you short Apple stock and make a killing.

Just because this may not take off like the iPOD doesn’t mean their stock will tank.

The next device will be an I Brain. It will wire directly into the brain and tune in Obama as the primary feed. All information will come in through the department of information directed by the I Czar appointed by Obama. There will be immediate feedback to Obama in case you need reeducation or possible execution for the party.

It will if the guidance that Apple gave the street on earnings expectations from it don’t materialize.

5 Year Returns:
Dell -66.85% (ouch)
Microsoft +13.63%
HP +153.72%
Google +188.23%
Apple +472.47%
Ya, Jobs & Co. have no idea what they’re doing. /s

It will if the guidance that Apple gave the street on earnings expectations from it dont materialize. That doesn't set the stock price...the street sets the stock price. The street considers what he says then they evaulate what it is that Jobs is selling.
Just like with Microsoft...they often say they are going to make x eps. Let's say they said they were going to make $1.00/share. And then they announce and they made $1.02/share...wow stock should go up, right? Well most times it doesn't because the street thought MS was going to make $1.03.

Past performance doesn’t predict future results.
But yes in the past Apple has been very successful. What is their market cap compared to Microsoft and Google?

So, how many megapixels does it's built in camera have?
Also, since it's able to use AT&T's 3G network for data, how hard is it to sync a bluetooth headset for phone calls?
