The gore moore film types have to be on the level with propaganda of the communist countries.

Unspeakable - it should’ve been named “Unwatchable” - it was so bad my wife and I HAD to keep watching it just to see how bad it would get (most of the time I just turn off the really bad stinkers).

Absolute number one winner of all time in this category?
"Whose Life Is It Anyway", from the late 70's or early 80's I think, starring Richard Dreyfus as a guy who is rendered quad in a car accident. And not just any guy - this guy was SPECIAL. He was a SCULPTOR, and being quad was hell for him because it left him without any means to "express his consciousness". Like if the guy had been a plumber he'd have said, "Oh, being quadraplegic isn't so bad once you get used to it..."
Oh, the angst... How did all those guys who spent money to take their girlfriends out on a cheap date to see this one feel once it got on a roll?
I had the good fortune to at least be battered with it at someone else's house, watching it on their cable dime.

I actually enjoyed “A Thin Red Line”, though it probably helped to have read the book first (much of the dialog seemed to be lifted straight from there).

You should try to watch the Dune mini-series that came out in 2000. It was actually pretty good. Actually, I've seen it and agree, it was pretty well done. I'm referring to the first feature film Dune, which was highly publicized at the time it came out and was abysmal.

Here are some films I have seen that are so bad, there are no words I can use to describe them in the English language that would not get my post pulled.
Manos: The Hands of Fate
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Monster A Go-Go
Eegah
The Pumaman
Attack of the the Eye Creatures (filmmakers forgot to remove the extra “the” in the title sequence)
Werewolf
To: Le Chien Rouge
Battlefield Earth...Great book, unwatchable movie.

Some will probably disagree but my nominee for "Worst-ever Picture" would be Paris Texas. Since Nastasia Kinski was in it, it can't have been the worst film ever made.

Its already been decided, the voting is over and it settled for all time!
The worst movie ever is:

Its why I call a Coyote Ugly movie! You would chew your arm off to leave!

Didnt think The Mexican was so bad. Not great, but not among the worst.I rented it because of the cast, and found it virtually unwatchable. But, then, there's no accounting for taste.

Paris Texas....endless walking across Texas' desert Which has the added dumbness in the fact that Paris is in the middle of the Piny Woods of East Texas with nair a cactus in sight.

The Highlander II "In the end there can be only one." After that what happens? Didn't they make a Highlander III, something about the planet they were all escapees from but didn't remember? Or am I just remembering 2 and thinking it's so bad it was a third?

Granted those films are all B-films and are only famous because of MST3K. If you are looking for a major production that was terrible, I give you Batman and Robin.
To: ctdonath2
I would nominate, Blood Beach, made in 1980. Keep in mind that the standards for a B horror flick are not very high but this film makes most of them seem like Academy Award winners by comparison. The acting is so bad, the dialog is even worse, there are microphones in the shots, the lighting is horrendous, there is nothing to do but root for the monster. By the end of the film you are wishing it was real so it could eat the actors and the crew. It is so bad that the most horrifying thing is that you actually sat there and watched it.

Yes, II was the escapees atrocity. III returned to the original story, starting with an explanation with Christopher Lambert staring into the camera and, in so many words, saying “let’s pick up a few minutes before the first movie ended and ignore that POS that was its sequel”, then continued with a storyline of “oh, hey, there is one more immortal after all...”
II was so bad that, yes, you are mis-remembering it.

Pearl Harbor is the #1 worst movie of all time.
Followed closely by virtually any Susan Surrandan, Glenn Close, or Barbara Streisand film.
