Oh, I love CCR! And that graphic is so interesting. Nicely done, Billie!
Hello to all at Amy Place. It is c-c-cold here. 39 degrees and depressingly GRAY. Every day looks pretty much like the day before. Just another typical January in the San Joaquin Valley.
Hope you all are staying warm, wherever you are.

Perfect graphic for the song, Billie!
It seems almost dichotomous, as the music is so perky and peppy, and the words are so ominous. VERY interesting!

Happy Thursday, Tajgirvan.
From this California Central Valley girl, I can understand you being unhappy with the Atlanta weather. I’m sure my knees would freeze up and I would stay that way until the spring thaw. LOL
It is 41 here but foggy and wet. I like spring and fall. Too darn hot in the summer and too darn cold in the winter. LOL
Ya think I’m spoiled?
The New Year has been treating us well. Hope it has been treating you the same.

Here's Lindy and d'Ogee in their Christmas sweaters.
The trees used to light up and blink
But, the batteries have died.
The dogs don't really care. LOL!(Tiapam is just learning to use the computer
So, I'm posting this for her.
Knowing her, she will be "FRAMING"
before I ever figure it out!)

Hi, Lori! I think it must be cold all over the country right now. Our wind chill factor this morning ws 0 degrees. We're not expected to see temperatures above freezing until Saturday. :( Saw the news about the shootings at the St. Louis Power Plant on Fox News this morning, and they were talking about how cold it was there - 2 degrees, and snow, snow, snow everywhere.
Thank you for your compliment on the graphic, and I also just love CCR. Used their "Proud Mary" song on another opening not too long ago. I really like the beat of their songs and their voices are very distinctive. This one (Bad Moon Rising) is a neat song. Wanted to give that scene a 'stormy' look - fun to try different plugins.
Stay warm!

Afternoon, yorkie. Brrrrrrr! Am sure your area is very cold, too. I'm hoping my dogs will be content today to just go out in the courtyard area only long enough to do what they hafta do and want back in! I do not want to get out of the house at all today!
Thanks for your compliment on today's opening, and I agree with your take on the song. But I like the song a lot BECAUSE of the beat more than because of the lyrics!

Happy Thursday, Jaycee.
Seems I have been missing you recently.
I apologize .... seems I never get to all the posts lately.
I was happy to see that you got out long enough to stock up on chocolate.
Nothing better to get you through cold miserable days.
Stay Warm and have a Terrific Thursday!

I love the beat, too!
It’s in the low 50’s here - and will be, for the next ten days.
I’ve been on the phone all morning, trying to get some help for a serious problem I’m having. BEES. Very aggressive bees! They are swarming all over the wood chips by my front door - and they chase me and the dogs, when we go out. So, I’m staying inside as much as possible, too!

Hi Meg, Thank you so much for the LOVELY flowers and a
matching frame to boot. Very cool!!!
Regarding Yorkie’s cooking: EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!! Her cooking is far better than any resturant I’ve been to. I’m one lucky person to have such a good friend.
Yes, everyone seems to be so patient and kind. Hope you are having a good day dreaming you are on a beach, yes in much warmer weather!!

I'll join you in wishing for spring.
Daffodils are peaking out .... Spring can't be too far behind, can it?
Have a delightful day.

Yikes! Those sound like Africanized Bees, don’t they? They are so dangerous, and I do hope you get someone to take care of them right away. :(

Good Afternoon, Lori.
I knew that CCR was a favorite of yours.
Glad that you enjoyed today's Opener.
I have an appt for dental cleaning this afternoon.
I'm trying to answer many of today's pings before I leave.
Therefore ..... no new graphics.
Time to recycle old ones. :)
Have a Terrific Thursday and stay warm.

Yes - they are africanized - according to the pest control expert. The tree by my front door is dripping sap (woodpeckers) - so it is a pretty complicated problem.
The bees are foraging for food, and as there are no flowers this time of year, they are going for the sap. The woodpecker is pecking into the tree, because it has bugs in it. So, I need to have three companies work on the problem - a Bee Keeper, Pest Control and an Arborist (to save the tree.)
