Agreed. When I was 10 my Dad took us fly fishing in the flats off the Florida Keys for Bonefish. I snagged a 20 lb Tarpon. 20 minutes seemed like 2 hours. I’ll never forget the feeling as long as I live.

How many skins of Stellar’s Jays would you like?
Forgot 2 important facts. My thumb was purple for a week from the reel running out 5 times. Second, my father, Ed Scruggs, introduced Trout into the Chattahoochee River below the Buford Dam (illegally, but that’s another story) so he knew fresh water fly fishing. Loved both Fresh and Salt; all great Anglers love and seek both.

Anything to help the vets, I’m in.
“The River Why” by James Duncan is a fun but serious book about fishing, life & a bit mystical too. I highly recommend it.
We are now under a severe winter storm watch for 7-12” of snow starting Thursday morning. Good thing I was gifted with the book “The Physics of NASCAR” to read after I get thorough shoveling snow.
