His skills are truly phenomenal. A close friend of mine trained with Seagal in Japan for several months. My friend is an Aikido black belt from about 25 years ago, former Mossad operative, and a former officer in the South African military.
In other words, he's an understated real-lfe bad ass.
He said watching Seagal was simply inspiring. The guy is an almost superhumanly talented martial artist.
This from a guy who uses superlatives like "The core of the sun is moderately warm".
Seagal can't act, but he doesn't need to. In fact, I suspect he's never tried...
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
