I just explained why it does make sense and maybe you better think through what I wrote a little more.
Or let me try again using your numbers. With that $1M dollars, the goons in DC will steal 200k and you get decide how the other 800k is spent. By spending the $1M in a fashion that you decide, you get to spend $1.2M of your own money in a fashion that you decide. It's our money, not the government's.
I remember reading back when they became an item, somebody in media, like People, or whatever, described how he picked her because she almost literally made his jaw drop when he laid eyes on her - he was gobsmacked. Guess the bloom fell off the rose once he got his objective.
She is gorgeous, no denying it and more gorgeous than the other women alledgedly involved with Mr. Woods. Maybe he gets gobsmacked a lot. I think last Friday morning someone REALLY gobsmacked him. A bit too late to save his reputation from himself.
But have you noticed...Nanny, Cocktail Waitress, Party Planner....I think he thinks he’s picking dumb ones, really. No MBAs, no college grads....I don’t know though...I don’t make a habit of keeping up with Tiger so I have no idea....does Tiger have a college degree? If not, maybe he just chooses from his own level. (BAD I know)
I’m pretty sure he went to Stanford. (I don’t really follow much golf either.)
But it may be the ones with college degrees don’t throw themselves at billionaires as often, although I’m sure that happens, too.
Good point. It is odd that he picks women who aren’t at the top end in intelligence or success. If I was a billionaire I would WANT a women who was brilliant, beautiful and successful... with all the other nice traits as well. But definitely intelligence would be at the top of my list. Why pick someone that will bore you after the sex part fades in newness?
The GolfWrx web site is filled with golfers including club pros, PGA card holders (pros), hackers and good golfers. It is also infested with Tiger fan boys. Their first reaction is no way Tiger was cheating. When they heard the voice mail they are now trying to say adultery is a common problem in society.
A few on GolfWrx and here on FR are calling his wife a wh*re for wanting more dough. I say more power to her.
If she was faithful then she deserves whatever she can get. Her husband is a whore who pitches for any and every product as long as he gets enough money - strictly business.
Well now the wife can say - it is all strictly business. My guess is she will stick around until the kids are grown up. She should probably divorce him but he may have a pretty good pre-nup.
I hope she gets the best deal possible. Her husband is scum and a POS.
She was also the nanny for Jasper Parnevik’s kids. Jasper is a Swede as well. Funny guy who wears pork pie hats and sometimes some fairly wild golf clothes. HEis a good golfer too.
So I get to CHOOSE to spend it the way I WANT by GIVING it to an ex wife. I don’t see that as spending it the way I WANT to spend it. I’d rather give 200K to the government and keep 800k in my pocket than give a million to an ex wife just to keep 200k in my pocket.
I don’t see where this is confusing. Let me try and explain it this way.
I’ve got $2,000,000. I give a million to an ex wife. That leaves me $1,000,000. I pay uncle sam 20%. That leaves me $800,000.
Or I tell the ex wife to go to every tabloid she can find but she ain’t gettin’ squat from me. Now I’ve got my $2,000,000. I pay uncle sam 20%. That leaves me with $1,600,000.
Ever hear the saying “Liars figure but figures don’t lie”? Not calling you a liar but the way I see it $1,600,000 in my bank account is better than $800,000 in my account and $800,000 in my ex wife’s account.
On top of all that, even if I did give her a million the government would get the $200,000 from her anyway. They’re gonna’ get it one way or the other.
I agree that it’s our money. But we can’t seem to find enough people to elect to office who agree with us.
I still think Tiger is a good guy and this is a witch hunt.
